The Origins of a Yellow Tube with a Singular Scent
PERSKINDOL was created more than 30 years ago by a Swiss tennis player and businessman . For five years, he perfected his formula became the iconic Swiss topical pain relief: PER-SKIN-DOL “for application - on the skin - against pain”.
Participating regularly in tennis tournaments, he had set himself the goal of developing a topical pain reliever that would allow him to resume the game immediately after the application. And to chain the parties without pain or risk of doping . For this, the gel with the acronym “PERSKINDOL” had to:
- Effectively treat pain locally
- Be quickly absorbed by the skin and not leave a film or greasy residue
In 1981, the Classic Fluid was launched with a formula based on essential oils from which comes the inimitable and relaxing smell of PERSKINDOL. Essential oils are the basis of all PERSKINDOL products and, depending on the range, have analgesic , anti-inflammatory , thermo-therapeutic (cooling and / or heating) properties that promote healing.
Today, it is almost impossible not to find this famous yellow tube in Swiss homes!

4 hand areas = 2 FTUs = 1 g
One FTU is the amount of a topical cream/gel that is squeezed from the very tip of the adult finger to the first crease.
One hand area is the size of the flat of an adult’s hand with the fingers together.
